San Tirso<\/h2>\n

Artificial cave carved out of rock with an irregularly base, it is 2 km away from the town.<\/p>\n

The fa\u00e7ade was recently refurbished.<\/p>\n

Inside the chapel they found a grave with human remains with its head resting on a stone, engraved with the year 869, when the chapel is believed to have been built. It can be seen in the Diocesan Museum of Calahorra along with the relics of Saint Juan the apostle, Santiago and Saint Pedro.<\/p>\n

This enclave preserves the old custodian\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

Pe\u00f1alba<\/h2>\n

10th<\/sup> century Mozarab built in masonry with two double-section naves, horseshoe apse and four semicircular arches arising from the central palm-shaped column.<\/p>\n

Inside there is a sculpture of the Virgin.<\/p>\n

It was added to La Rioja Heritage Register as monument of Cultural Interest in December 13th<\/sup>, 1979.<\/p>\n

The chapel of Our Lady of Pe\u00f1alba has been restored under the supervision of Direction General of Heritage of the La Rioja Government in a coordinated effort with the Local Council of Arnedillo, in the years 1983, 1996 and 2004.<\/p>\n

In January 2023, work finished in the annex porch for restoration, ornamentation and re-roofing.<\/p>\n

Virgen de La Torre<\/h2>\n

The 16th<\/sup> century brick construction with a refurbished rectangular base has an early 17th<\/sup> century Romanist retable with 14th<\/sup> century gothic sculptures of the titular Virgin of la Torre with child, Saint Bartolom\u00e9, Saint Jos\u00e9 and Saint B\u00e1rbara.<\/p>\n

On both sides of the altar one can find images of the patron saints of the 16th<\/sup> century villages of Arnedillo: Saint Sebasti\u00e1n, Peroblasco and Saint Luc\u00eda and Anto\u00f1anzas.<\/p>\n

Some maintain the sculpture of the Virgin was originally placed on the watchtower, hence her name.<\/p>\n

San Miguel<\/h2>\n

Rebuilt in the same place where the old chapel was, it dates back to the 16th<\/sup> century. In this same area some early medieval tombs were carved out of rock.<\/p>\n

San Zoilo<\/h2>\n

Located in the first floor of the Spa. It is dedicated to the memory of San Zoilo, one of the first martyrs from C\u00f3rdoba who hailed from Christian nobility and publicly admitted to it, for which he was tortured in the 3rd<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n
