The town is very well known for its thermal waters, which flow in from various hot springs. Waters with mineral medicinal properties rich in sodium, bromurate, calcic sulfate, with ions of magnesium, iron, silica and rubidium, they are radioactive and hyper thermal with an emerging temperature of 52.5 \u00b0C. They are highly recommended to treat rheumatic disease, breathing problems, muscle contractures, bruises and stress.<\/p>\n

The water enters the sandstone soil and collects the components while it seeps, raising its temperature by 3 \u00b0C every 100 meters and reaching 120 \u00b0C when it hits the limestone at 3,500 meters deep. In its descent below 4,000 it flows over impermeable clay until it reaches a new area of limestone, ascending and reaching the outside, still hot at an approximate 52 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

These medicinal waters have been classified as charged with sodium, bromurate, calcic sulfate, with ions of magnesium, iron, silica and rubidium.<\/p>\n

The hot springs by the Cidacos River, known as \u201cPozas<\/em>\u201d, are one of the town\u2019s main attractions along with the Arnedillo Spa.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
