Castle of the Lomberas
In existence since at least the 13th century, the square base turret and wall oil painting are all preserved along with its original ashlar masonry.
It belonged to the Bishops of Calahorra, Lord and Masters of the town, which they used as their summer residence. In its inception it served as watchtower for the road between the high river valley and Arnedo. Later it served as prison for rebellious clergymen and was restored in 2011. In mid 19th century it was known as Castillo Lombera.
